ReWILD Online Bites

Gain clarity and essential tools to adapt and grow in today’s complex landscape

ReWILD Online Bites is a short online course based on carefully curated elements from the 16-week ReWILD program. It consists of three online workshops with international experts, focused on personal branding, the art of positioning your work, and how to navigate an increasingly complex professional landscape with resilience and clarity. The course is accompanied by two 60-minute one-to-one sessions with Karen Toftegaard.

Designed for artists, arts leaders, and creative entrepreneurs, ReWILD Online Bites offers clarity on what it takes to stand out and sustain a practice in today’s performing arts field. Drawing on her role as a professional observer, Karen Toftegaard combines an entrepreneurial mindset with insights into what needs to be strengthened to navigate complexity with clear perspectives.

The creation of ReWILD Online Bites is guided by a core working question: How can we adjust or change our practice in more regenerative ways - taking care of people, resources, and the arts and culture ecosystems? While developing ReWILD, we asked how selected parts of this exclusive content could be shared in ways that support more people. ReWILD Online Bites opens up curated parts of these sessions to a wider group - benefiting everyone.

Inspirational Talks with Invited Experts + Exercises: Tuesdays, 2 hour sessions (including break)

3 February 2026 at 9.00am - 11.00am CET

Your Wild Manifesto: Writing a Personal Brand Framework to and Thrive By - facilitated by Rupert Thomson who has a background as Head of Performance and Dance at Soouthbank Centre and Founding Artistic Director at Summerhall (Edinburgh). Now he is General Manager - APAC for Reed Words, a specialist brand writing agency.

This two-hour interactive workshop guides you through a holistic approach to personal branding. We'll start from self-reflection, moving to preparation, then defining your core values, and finally exploring how to project your authentic self. We'll use creative exercises, metaphor mapping, and peer discussion. You’ll uncover patterns in your habits, inspirations, and creative triggers. And, by the end, you’ll have drafted a 50-100 word personal manifesto or a 3-5 pillar personal brand framework: a guiding, adaptable compass to inform your choices, expression, and professional presence with clarity and confidence.

17 March 2026 at 15.30 - 17.30 CET

The Art of Positioning: Understanding Markets, Contexts, and Adaption - facilitated by Kat Jarby who runs and has developed Kaja MANAGEMENT which represents some of Denmark’s most innovative and artists in the esperimental music scene. Located in Copenhagen and New York.

How do you read the ever-shifting arts market – and how do you strategically place your work within it? This workshop looks at strategies for understanding current artistic ecosystems, recognizing patterns in programming, funding, audience behavior, and institutional priorities – while also identifying the niches, networks, and opportunities that align with your own artistic values.

Through a mix of presentations, practical exercises, and peer discussions, we will explore methods for analyzing artistic trends, identifying relevant contexts, and articulating the unique value of your creative practice. We will dive into the art of creating multiple versions, formats, or expressions of a project so it can sit meaningfully in different environments.

Rather than adapting your work to meet trends, this workshop focuses on expanding the visibility, relevance, and mobility of your existing practice. By the end, you will have concrete tools for mapping your place in the arts ecosystem, communicating your work with clarity, and developing adaptable iterations of you projects that support both artistic integrity and professional sustainability.
