About the Speaker – Karen Toftegaard
Karen Toftegaard is a cultural entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the creative and performing arts industries, working across both national and international contexts. She specializes in festival design and industry development—supporting growth on both a personal and organizational level.
Karen holds a Master’s degree in Modern Culture and Cultural Science and currently teaches as an external lecturer at the University of Copenhagen, alongside running her company, WILDTOPIA by Karen Toftegaard.
She is co-author of the Danish book BRUG DIN KREATIVITET (Use Your Creativity), originally published in 2014. The book remains available for Danish readers and is now complemented by a brand-new e-book written by Karen. In it, she shares up-to-date research, reflections, and hands-on examples from her work as a coach, consultant, and creative producer.
